mowmowmow’s twelfth full-length album, pennsylvania ave. explores the wound-together memories that make up and define each person. from the moments of childhood joy to the never-met family who’s lives still guide us long after their departure, carried onward by those who have only ever seen them in faded photographs.
pennsylvania ave. is a wholly personal album for it’s creator, miuna mae. with each song serving as a journal entry, a love letter, or a thread to the past.

mowmowmow’s sous un chêne is a double-lp concept album that takes place in the roots and hollows beneath a large oak tree.
growing up in the souther united states, mowmowmow has always been surrounded by live oaks, as a child she would imagine the mystical goings-ons underneath. sous takes place over one year, cataloging the various activities of the town.
from the changing seasons to the excitement of a rat wedding, sous takes existing fairy tails and myth and evolves them into song.

stemming from both a love of the mothman and a challenging relationship with her own self worth, cryptid is an internal dialogue, attempting to find peace in herself.

mowmowmow’s eighth album, forget everything, is a dissection of her relationship with religion while navigating new directions in her life.
